Bye Bye Mime Festival (wave hand)

So the London International Mime Festival is finished for another year. How was the 2010 edition for you?

For us, it’s been a great year, with lots of sold-out shows and a brilliant audience. What did you enjoy most? Collectif Petit Travers’s beautiful juggling? Mimbre serving tea to the audience? Circus Klezmer taking audience participation to another level? Or the two guys from Compagnie Ieto balancing on top of 2 planks of wood, 4 meters up in the air?

We’ll cherish plenty of moments from this year’s festival. Let us know yours!

  1. Hi! I brought my husband, who is an engineer and not at all a theatre or concert goer, to see Companie Ieto one very chilly Sunday afternoon. It was his Christmas present. I was a little apprehensive as to whether the performance would interest him – but he was rivetted! Hats off to the boys for delighting and enthralling someone who would normally drop off to sleep at the dimming of the lights and the rising of any theatre curtain. It was beautiful and amusing to watch and kept his attention throughout while I sat open mouthed. An excellent result – thanks boys!
